Converting Planned Orders 

Use

You can collectively convert planned orders into production orders or into purchase requisitions.

The reference to the production lot number (WBS element) remains unaffected by the conversion.

Collective Conversion of Planned Orders to Production Orders

With the collective conversion into production orders, you can enter the production number in the WBS element field of the initial screen, for which you would like to convert planned orders. The system then automatically selects all planned orders that are assigned to the account of the WBS element. For the order type, you can use, for example, the standard order type PP01.

Collective Conversion of Planned Orders to Purchase Requisitions

With the collective conversion into purchase requisitions, you can enter the production number in the WBS element field of the initial screen, for which you would like to convert planned orders. The system then automatically selects all planned orders that are assigned to the account of the WBS element.

Activities

To collectively convert planned orders, starting from the MRP menu, you choose: Planned order ® Convert to pur.req or prod.ord. ® Collect. conversion.
