Processing Errors After Backflushing
Use
Errors may occur when the system is saving the data in the backflushing transaction. It is possible that the logical stock level is insufficient at the time of the withdrawal posting. Or, errors occurred in the master data if, for example, the system could not determine a storage location or if the material data is locked by another user.

The system can only backflush components successfully if the current stock quantity completely covers the requirement quantity to be backflushed. If this is not the case, the system creates a backlog for the complete requirements quantity.
If you use stock determination, the system splits the quantity into the available quantity which is withdrawn and the remaining quantity for which it creates a backlog.
Integration
You can process errors for the final backflush and for the reporting point backflush.
Prerequisites
Settings in Customizing for Repetitive Manufacturing:
Features
The system can react in various ways to errors during the withdrawal posting:

If you decide not to correct the discrepancies in dialog mode, the system only creates backlogs if you have set the indicator Backlog option in the repetitive manufacturing profile appropriately.

The changes to components are not updated in the BOM. They are only recorded in the backflushing accounting documents.
