Backflushing with Component Correction

Use

You can use this function when posting the goods receipt for a finished product (assembly) if the actual data of the components used differ from the data in the production version and in the BOM. You can change the detailed data of a component, add components to an assembly or delete components.

The changes only apply to the goods receipt posting in question, since the system explodes the BOM for each posting separately.

Integration

You can use this function for make-to-stock production, make-to-order production, production by lots or for kanban materials. You can also use it for reporting point backflushing.

When posting actual components, the system immediately posts the goods issues for the components even if you have set the separate backflush function.

Features

You can change the detailed data of a component if, for example, you want to withdraw it from a different production storage location.

You can add components if unforeseen material consumption occurs in production. You can also delete a component and add an alternative part instead.

You can delete components that have not been consumed.
