Changing the Planning Settings 

  1. Starting from the sequence schedule, choose Settings ® Planning.

    2. The system displays the dialog box Change Planning Profile.

  2. If you want to change the planning process, choose the tab page Processes.
  3. If you want to change the length of the planning period, choose the Planning period tab page.
  4. Change the settings as necessary.
  5. You now have the following options:
    1. If you only want to change the settings for the current session, choose .
    2. If you want to save your changes for subsequent sessions, first choose and then . Then the system copies the changes to the planning profile in Customizing for Sequencing.

In Line Design, you can enter a processing profile for a production line. If you have used sort buffers to divided the production line into several partial lines, you can specify a processing profile for every partial line. The processing profile of a line segment has priority over the processing profile of the production line. The processing profile of the production line has priority over the processing profile of the plant.
