Accessing Detailed Information

Procedure

In the planning table, you can obtain detailed information on individual lines by double-clicking the various fields.

Result

When you double-click the quantity fields, the system displays which receipts or requirements make up the period quantities. In a dialog box, the system displays the list of MRP elements in table form. This table is structured similarly to the current stock/requirements list. You receive information on the following quantity fields:

Production quantity

The system displays the receipt elements of each period. Depending on your settings you can use the production dates and not the basic dates for selecting and sorting. You can select and change the receipts by double-clicking them.

Requirements

The system displays the requirements of each period.

Available quantity (requirements and receipts)

The system displays the complete stock/requirements situation for the material (or for the MRP segment).

The dates of the MRP elements of the selected period are highlighted.

The system always displays the basic dates for the receipt elements as the available quantity is based on the basic dates. You can select and change the receipts by double-clicking them. If you access a dialog box for a complete material situation, the system carries out a rescheduling check in the background to display the current exception situation.

In the capacity requirement and load of a production line, the system displays the list of the MRP elements which are the source of the capacity requirements/load.

This list is also structured as a table similar to the stock/requirements list.

You can change the planned orders and production orders in the list by double-clicking them.

When you double-click a production line , the system displays the material with information on the production version, BOM, routing work center and, if necessary, the run schedule header.
