Moving Production Quantities on the Time Axis

Use

Planned production quantities that lie before the date used to access the planning table are totaled and are displayed in the first column of the planning table as Overdue quantities.
You can move these open production quantities from past periods into the future.

You can also use this function to displace any production quantity either backward or forward on the time axis.

Prerequisites

You must have defined the distribution function appropriately in Customizing for the Planning Table in the IMG activity Distribution for the Planning Table. Even distribution is the standard default.

Procedure

Select the row of the production line whose production quantities you want to move.

Select the columns to define the periods (the period of assignment).

Choose Quantity changes ® Move quantities along time axis.

Select the columns of the periods to which the production quantities are to be moved and choose Copy.

The system distributes the production quantities to the period you selected.
