Reassigning ‘Already-Assigned’ Quantities
Use
This procedure is particularly useful if, for example, one production line cannot be used as it is in need of repair. You can reassign the production quantities of one production line to another line or you can distribute the quantities over several production lines.
Procedure
You have the following options for making your assignments:
The simplest option:
The system displays the dialog box Distribute Prod.Quantities.
All production quantities within your selected period have now been reassigned.
When you save your data, the system updates the data on the database.
Alternatively, you can also proceed as follows:
A1. Position the cursor on the production line from which the quantity is to be removed.
A2. Choose Reassign quantities.
A dialog box Selection Days appears where you can define the period.
A3. Enter the start and the end of the period for assignment.
A4. Choose Continue.
The system displays the dialog box Distribute Prod.Quantities.
Or:
B1. Position the cursor on the row for the production line, on the first quantity to be removed.
B2. Choose Select. The selected quantity is highlighted.
B3. Position the cursor on the quantity at the end of the period and then choose Select. The system takes note of your selected period.
B4. Choose Reassign quantities.
The system displays the dialog box Distribute Prod.Quantities.
In both cases, proceed as follows:
Enter the appropriate quotas if you want to distribute the production quantity over several lines.
All production quantities within your selected period have now been reassigned. Before you save your data, the system only carries out these assignments in simulative mode.
