Assigning ‘Not Yet Assigned’ Quantities Automatically Over a Period of Time 

Procedure

Option 1 using row/column selection

  1. Select the row with the non-assigned quantities.
  2. Select the columns (periods) with the non-assigned quantities you want to be assigned automatically.
  3. Choose Reassign quantities.

    4. The system displays the dialog box Distribute Prod.Quantities.

  4. Check the proposed production versions and enter a quota of 1 if you want the complete production quantity (100 %) to be produced on one production line.

    5. Enter the appropriate quotas if you want to distribute the production quantity over several lines.

  5. Choose Copy.

    6. All ‘non-assigned quantities’ have now been assigned. Before you save your data, the system only carries out these assignments in simulative mode.

  6. Save the planning results.

When you save your data, the system updates the data on the database. In the background, the planned orders are changed.

 

Options 2 and 3

You have the following options for making your assignments:

  1. Position the cursor on the row of quantities still to be assigned.
  2. AChoose Reassign quantities.

    3. A dialog box Selection Days appears where you can define the period.

  3. AEnter the start and the end of the period for assignment.
  4. AChoose Continue.

    5. The system displays the dialog box Distribute Prod.Quantities

     

    Alternatively, you can also proceed as follows:

  5. BPosition the cursor on the row of quantities still to be assigned on the first quantity that you want to assign.
  6. BChoose Select. The selected quantity is highlighted.
  7. BPosition the cursor on the quantity at the end of the period and then choose Select. The system takes note of your selected period.
  8. BChoose Reassign quantities.

    The system displays the dialog box Distribute Prod.Quantities.

     

    In both cases, proceed as follows:

  9. Check the proposed production versions and enter a quota of 1 if you want the complete production quantity (100 %) to be produced on one production line.

    10. Enter the appropriate quotas if you want to distribute the production quantity over several lines.

  10. Choose Copy.

    11. All ‘non-assigned quantities’ have now been assigned. Before you save your data, the system only carries out these assignments in simulative mode.

  11. Save the planning results.

When you save your data, the system updates the data on the database. In the background, the planned orders are changed.

Result

The system has assigned all the ‘non-assigned quantities’ within the period you selected to the production lines you selected.
