Creating Rate Routings 

Prerequisites

You must have created all the work centers you want to enter as processing stations in the rate routing.

At least one work center must be available to represent the production line.

Procedure

  1. Starting from the routing menu, choose Routings ® Rate routings ® Create.

    2. The system displays the initial screen.

  2. Make the required entries in the initial screen. You can enter a material and plant, or a routing group (task list group) which you want to assign the rate routing. Choose Enter.

    3. The Header screen appears.

  3. Make the required entries in the routing header.
  4. Now choose Operations.

    5. The Operation Overview screen appears.

  5. Enter the work center number, the control key, the operation description, the base quantity and the standard values (for example, machine time, personnel time).
  6. Save the rate routing.

    7. When creating the rate routing, you must make sure that you select a control key for the operation that allows capacity planning.

  7. Use the production line or scheduling work center for at least one operation.
