Creating the Line Hierarchy for the Production Line

Prerequisites

You have split the production line into individual elements and you have created a work center for every element.

Procedure

  1. Choose Logistics ® Production ® Master data.
    To create line hierarchies, choose Line design     ® Line hierarchy ® Create.

    2. Once you have created the hierarchy, you must define a work center in the hierarchy as the scheduling work center.

  2. Starting from the line hierarchy, choose Line hierarchy graphic.

    3. The system displays the graphic.

  3. Position the cursor on the appropriate work center and choose Line segment ® Scheduling work center ® Define.

This work center is then used as the scheduling work center.
