Confirming Production Campaigns

Use

You can use this function to confirm individual or all process orders together in a production campaign (final confirmation at order header level).

Integration

For all other confirmations (for example, confirmations of individual phases or partial confirmations), use the corresponding functions in process order confirmation.

Prerequisites

The process orders to be confirmed:

You can see whether a process order is released or finally confirmed in the overview screen of the campaign (Create/Change/Display Production Campaign: Overview).

Since the program can possibly terminate while you are confirming several process orders at the same time (for example, if activity types are not maintained), you should save the campaign before executing the confirmation function if you made changes to it.

Features

All process orders selected in the campaign that fulfill the prerequisites above are finally confirmed at header level. The confirmations are not actually posted until you save the campaign.

The confirmations as well as any errors that may occur are kept in a confirmation log.

A search function is available to help you determine g oods movements that are to be post processed. Since the posting has a time delay, you should execute this function at a later time.

Activities

Confirming process orders of a campaign: To do this, call up the campaign in the change mode (Logistics ® Production - Process ® Production Campaign and then Production Campaign ® Change), select the process orders to be confirmed, and choose Environment ® Confirm process orders.
Should the program terminate during the confirmation process, you can still confirm the process orders individually by way of the standard confirmation functions.
