Cumulating Available Capacity  

Prerequisites

You can cumulate available capacity both in capacity maintenance and resource maintenance in either the create or change mode.

If you want to cumulate available capacity in capacity maintenance, enter the resource capacity on which you want to cumulate on the initial capacity maintenance screen.

Procedure

  1. On the Intervals of Available Capacity screen, choose Extras ® Avail cap via hier.

    2. The Determine Available Capacity Using Hierarchy dialog box appears.

  2. Enter the plant and the name of the hierarchy for which you want to cumulate available capacity.
  3. Enter the level in the hierarchy that you want to cumulate. The available capacities of resources at this level are cumulated.
  4. Specify the intervals and time periods in which you want to cumulate via the period pattern key. For more information, see Cumulation of Available Capacities.

    5. Enter the date from which available capacity is to be cumulated using the period pattern.

  5. Choose .

    6. Available capacity is cumulated for the resource capacity that you are currently maintaining or have entered on the initial screen for capacity maintenance. You can change the cumulated available capacity by selecting the periods you want to change on the Intervals of Available Capacity screen and then choosing Choose.

  6. Choose to save the cumulated available capacity.
