Asset Revaluation (Inflation) Program – Parallel Sessions 

Use

You use this program if the standard revaluation program takes too long. Whereas the standard Asset Revaluation (Inflation) program automatically processes all assets, this program allows you to revaluate a range of assets.

Features

You can run this program in several sessions concurrently, and process a range of assets in each session, thereby speeding up the revaluation process. In all other respects, the two programs are identical.

You must still ensure that you revaluate every asset each interval. When you use the standard program, this is an built-in mechanism, since you can only run it for all assets. With the Parallel Sessions program, however, it is possible accidentally to skip assets.

Activities

The program is not included in the SAP Easy Access menu. In order to run it, use the report name J_1AAP01.

If you execute the program in the background, we recommend that in the Background Print Parameters dialog box, you select SAP cover page. This way you can log your selection criteria.
