Function Keys

P has priority if assigned twice

nP has no priority if assigned twice. Choose any function key.

AT Application toolbar (icon); may usually also be used in the work area

  1. Function keys group 1 = Keys standard at SAP: functions are linked to the function keys of this group and should be permanently available; these keys may never be used for other functions even if the related function is not used or inactive in the task.
  2. Function keys group 2 = Mandatory function keys, in case the function is activated sometimes: these function keys belong to functions which are not always available. If such a function is used at least once in a task, the defined function key has to be used for this function; otherwise, it can also be used for other functions.
  3. Function keys group 3 = Recommended function keys, in case the function is activated sometimes: function keys which should be assigned to the defined functions (recommendation), if they are active; otherwise, they can be used for other functions.

The functions of group 1 and 2 can not be active without the respective function keys. If the functions of group 2 are not used, the corresponding function keys can be used for other functions.

There may be other functions with or without the respective function keys (group 3 and 4).

Finally, a number of functions may not be assigned to any function key or included in the application toolbar or do not have a pull-down menu; this is indicated by "---".
