Highlighting Columns, Lines, and Cells

Simple Highlighting

Columns - Color

COL_KEY INTENSIFIED OFF

Lines - Color

COL_KEY INTENSIFIED OFF
If required: COL_KEY to COL_GROUP INTENSIFIED OFF, if these are not used in the list.
If no totals are available, also use COL_TOTAL INTENSIFIED OFF.

Totals and Subtotals

Color

Totals: COL_TOTAL INTENSIFIED

Subtotals: COL_TOTAL INTENSIFIED OFF
If the subtotal and the total are far apart, you can also use COL_TOTAL INTENSIFIED.

Horizontal Lines

To highlight individual totals and subtotals, they are separated from the remaining information by horizontal lines.

If several similar subtotals are displayed one below another, they are not separated by a horizontal line.

Different categories of subtotals, on the other hand, are separated by horizontal lines.

Vertical Lines

If you sum over several columns, such as the totals for the months of a year, the totals columns are separated like the data columns, by vertical lines.

If there is only one total, no vertical lines are used in overall totals lines and subtotal lines.

Identifying Totals of a Different Level (Symbols)

Totals are additionally marked by "*" in an extra column.
To distinguish totals of different levels, you use asterisks. For example, "***" means the total of the third level.

If there are more than 5 levels, it is difficult to distinguish the different numbers of asterisks. You should therefore opt for the following display:
*(n) with n = level, for example, *(7) for a total of the 7th level

Highlighting Cells

Colors

COL_POSITIVE INTENSIFIED (green, for example, positive threshold value)

COL_NEGATIVE INTENSIFIED (red, for example, negative threshold value)

Other colors, if available: COL_TOTAL, COL_KEY or COL_GROUP (in each case INTENSIFIED OFF)

The default settings for COL_POSITIVE and COL_NEGATIVE are predefined as shades of green and red.

Inserted Information

In some lists, you can choose a line and show its information in detail. Generally, a number of lines is "inserted" into the list to do this. This insertion can also be carried out on several levels.

You should refrain from using multi-level colorization here because you do not know the number of levels to be included.

Flagging Inserted Information (Symbols)

Like totals, inserted information is flagged by symbols. To do this, you have to insert a column to hold this information. This allows you to distinguish inserted information on different levels.

This character is repeated in the case of repeated insertion:
">>>" means insertion on the third level.
From the fifth level, the level should be identified by a number, as suggested for totals:
>(n) mit n = level, for example. >(7) for insertion on the 7th level
