One-Line Lists

Examples

The following figures show typical one-line lists.

Column Headers

Alignment

Column headers are aligned like the respective data columns. For example:

Text information: left-justified
Formatted number output: right-justified
Column headers of higher levels: centered

Arrangement, Lines

as columns separated by vertical lines (see below)

separated from the list body by a horizontal line

Color

Hierarchical Column Headers

If columns can be arranged in groups - possibly even across several levels - the individual levels are displayed as follows:

Lines

The column headers are separated by vertical lines.

The column headers of every level are separated by horizontal lines.

Color

First header line: COL_HEADING INTENSIFIED

Further header lines: COL_HEADING INTENSIFIED OFF

Exception: If the list contains too many colors, you should use the color of the list body (this also applies to all other list categories).

Lines

Columns are separated by vertical lines.

Standard : COL_NORMAL INTENSIFIED OFF (uniform)

Exception: If it is important to be able to follow the lines easily or if the list is very wide:
Alternating COL_NORMAL INTENSIFIED and COL_NORMAL INTENSIFIED OFF (starting with COL_NORMAL INTENSIFIED)

Separating Larger Groups of Lines

To increase transparency, you can separate different groups of lines by using horizontal lines. Such separator lines can, for example, separate different vendors or accounts.
