Gather groups of field names and their respective I/O fields in blocks.

Position fields whose values the user has to compare with each other one below the other.

If many "From-To" value ranges are grouped close together in the work area of a selection screen, the arrangement as shown in example 1 or example 2 is preferrable. The blanks in the left field name of example 1 are tolerable in this case.

This guideline basically affects the output of values. With entry screens where numeric data is entered left-aligned, the different widths of the input values give some indication as to which is the largest and which the smallest value.

If two field names have one part in common, you should still use the full name for both field names.

The longest field name of a block determines where the I/O fields begin.
