Overview of the Field Attributes 

The following overview names the field type, the Screen Painter attributes, and shows examplarily the appearance of the field type (see the following illustration) for correctly set flags. Important criteria are "flat vs. recessed" and "proportional script vs. equidistant script". Foreground processing is displayed in bold.

Legend

  1. In the Motif Screen Painter, FixA is called "output field only" (under the option "Program attributes".
  2. Equid = equidistant script (not proportional typeface)
  3. Bordered attributes have already been set; all others are to be set manually.
  4. Output fields are fields which either the user or the system has filled with data and which can no longer be changed. This also includes units (for example, kg).
  5. They are only to be set if the headings are a single field and cannot be split up into individual column headings.
