The user must be able to access the application level after logon by entering a fast path (mnemonic Access Characters). To do so, the user enters a period and a sequence of access characters in the command field.

Transaction codes can also be supported.

Accessing the initial screen for entering the object number or the object name with an additional fast path/transaction code is also possible.
