The topmost level with the standard SAP menu displayed after logon to the standard system is called the main menu level . All applications offered by SAP are listed in the pull-down menus at the lowest level. The applications are grouped together in classes in the higher-level pull-down menus.

The Master data, Sales and Shipping applications, for example, are in the pull-down menus at the lowest level of the higher-level class Logistics listed in the menu bar.
