General Layout Guidelines 

Dialog boxes contain the following elements:

The cursor is generally placed on the non-destructive option.

The user responds to the question posed in the dialog box by moving the cursor with the TAB key to the desired option and then pressing ENTER ( or by double-clicking on the desired option). It can also be chosen by means of a single mouse click.

Using Icons in Dialog Boxes with Confirmation Prompts

The standard function modules relating to confirmation prompts are automatically assigned to the corresponding icon:

This confirmation prompt is displayed when the user executes the Cancel function. The prompt is assigned an exclamation mark icon to indicate that data may be lost.

All other prompts are assigned an question mark icon to indicate that the user has to make a decision.
