Within these categories, designers can use various forms of display and modes of operation, all of which are implemented in
function modules . These function modules are always specified in uppercase letters to the left of the allocated text. The "Technical Notes" describe the use of each function module listed.In the implementation, a distinction is made at certain points between
destructive and non-destructive actions or response options. "Destructive actions or response options" result in a loss of data. If no data is lost, they are refered to as "non-destructive actions or response options".
