You can now display the balance of an account in a company code with parallel currencies in the following display currencies:
The parallel currencies are actually the group currency, global company currency, hard currency or index-based currency.
If the system updates parallel currencies in several different ledgers, it determines the ledger from which it should read and display the balances at the start of the balance display. You cannot display the balances of parallel currencies managed in ledgers L1 and L2 at the same time.
With the function Settings -> Display currency, you can display the balances in another display currency.
The function Overview -> Currencies shows the balances in four currencies side by side in the four columns.
Selection by currency on the initial screen has not been changed, and still refers to the transaction currency (foreign currency) in which a document was posted.
This release note has already been delivered with Release 2.2, however, the functions described above are only officially released with Release 3.0.
