From Release 3.0, the processing of material serial numbers and equipment has been combined.
You can maintain serial number data while processing equipment, and you can create or change a piece of equipment directly while processing a material serial number.
Status management for serialized materials has been standardized with that for equipment.
Material serial nummers are represented technically by an equipment master record (created internally) in table EQUI. Table EQSE is no longer required from Release 3.0.
An XPRA is required to convert 2.2 data!
