CO-CCA: New Planning Transactions in
CO-CCA
Description
In cost center planning, all manual planning transactions were replaced by
new transactions.
These new transactions offer, for example, the following options, among
others:
1. User-specific definitions of entry
screen layouts in addition to standard layouts predefined by SAP
2. Primary costs, secondary costs, and
revenues that can be planned in a transaction
3. Entering fixed and variable costs
instead of total costs and fixed portion, with additional displaying of total
costs.
4. Control data in overview screens
5. Planning several fiscal years and
versions
6. Comparison columns with actual annual
values and last year's values
Change system parameters in customizing
The previous plan parameters are no longer used within the new planning
transactions. The functionality is completely contained in the layout
transactions.

Effect on batch input
The following obsolete planning transactions were deleted, requiring
adjustment of the batch input programs:
- KP12 Change activity-independent primary costs
- KP13 Display activity-independent primary costs
- KP62 Change activity-dependent primary costs
- KP63 Display activity-dependent primary costs
- KP22 Change activity types
- KP23 Display activity types
- KP32 Change activity-independent activity inputs
- KP33 Display activity-independent activity inputs
- KP72 Change activity-dependent activity inputs
- KP73 Display activity-dependent activity inputs
- KPW2 Change activity-independent secondary order costs
- KPW3 Display activity-independent secondary order costs
- KPX2 Change activity-dependent secondary order costs
- KPX3 Display activity-dependent secondary order costs
Here, it should be pointed out again that a separate interface exists for
external data transfer. The function modules for this are contained in
function group KIPL. This interface should always be favored instead of a
batch input program.
Changes to the interface
The functions in the planning transaction have hardly changed. However, you
can now design the user interface yourself for planning by using flexible
planning layouts.
The most important new functions are:
- Optional header layout control.
- Up to 9 report margins are possible (until now only 1).
- As many value columns as required are possible (until now only 2).
