PM: Measuring points and counters in Plant Maintenance

Description

From Release 3.0, you can create points and counters in PM, for which you can enter measurement readings and counter readings.

• Measuring points and counters refer to characteristics in the classification system.

• Counters are managed in the system as a type of measuring point.

• You can link measuring points with equipment and functional locations .

• You enter and record measurement readings and counter readings using measurement documents.

• You can enter measurement documents directly (using the Create MeasDocument function) or from:

• One or more counters can be used as a basis for scheduling a maintenance plan.

Perform the necessary

measurement and counter settings.
