Changes to Schema D100 (Payroll for the Public Sector)

Use

Several changes have been made to the payroll schema for the Public Sector (D100). These changes are described below:

Conversions in the calculation of the sick pay supplement

Previously, subschema DOZA was called for salaried employees and subschema DOKZ was called for hourly-paid employees from schema DOKK using the internal pay scale type when the fictitious calculation of the net leave pay takes place. This separation is no longer necessary since all relevant differentiations have already been made in the gross part of the fictitious calculation.
For this reason, only subschema DO72 is called in schema DOKK for both salaried employees and for hourly-paid employees. The removal of schema DOZA is described below.

Variant 1 is only offered for retroactive accounting (see Customizing).

To illustrate the changes, the old and new payroll processes for the sick pay supplement are shown below.

The subschemas marked with '(-)' are no longer used. If you have modified these subschemas, you must make the corresponding changes in the subschema for the new process.
If it is necessary to run special processes for salaried employees only or for hourly-paid employees only, you can still use the old calculation rule DO63 for the differentiation in the same way as before.

Support of collective agreement for public utilities (TVV)

A number of modifications and enhancements have been made to payroll schema D100 to enable the new collective agreement for public utilities to be supported.

These changes mainly affect the gross part (subschema DOTK), the calculation of the sick pay supplement (subschemas DOZ3 and DOZ4), and the special bonus (calculation rules DO76 and DOZ0).

A number of Customizing settings for the processing of pay scale requirements in the system have also been included:

A new infotype view indicator ('OF') has also been created.
The pay scale tables have been maintained for the new pay scale type '27' (Public Utilities). Feature TARIF for the default pay scale type for the creation of the Basic Pay infotype (0008) has been modified accordingly.
A new average has been formed for the valuation of leave and illness absences using the payroll function AVERA.
For a general description of the average calculation, see the Implementation Guide under New Averages.
The new absence modifiers '27' and '47' (tables T554C and T5D0C) and different wage types for the calculation of averages have been created.
The control tables have been maintained in accordance with the pay scale requirements.

At this point, you should note that the changes made are based on the first draft of the collective agreement since no final version currently exists. For this reason, some details, for example, the payment of capital formation benefits may not have been finalized.

Caution

If you want to run payroll for employees using the new pay scale type '27', you must check all pay scale requirements in detail.

Changes to child allowance

The calculation of child allowance has been revised for the current release. The new payroll function DOKIG has been included in subschema DONT.
For a detailed description, see the separate release note on child allowance.

Rehabilitants

For payroll for rehabilitants, function P0593 has been inserted in subschema DGD0 and the new schema DORE has been included in the main schema D100.

For more information, see the Implementation Guide under Rehabilitants.
