SI Contribution Amount: Selection of Health Insurance Funds According to Fund Type

Use

Up to now the SAP system stored the health insurance funds responsible for carrying out the SI contribution assessment process according to company (area/subarea) in the V_T5D1A view (Contribution Rates for Transfer). You can still use this method.

As of release 4.6C you also have the possibility of determining the health insurance fund responsible for the assessment process according to fund type. For this purpose, SAP has enhanced the V_T5D1A view (Contribution Rates for Transfer) by adding a Health Insurance Fund Type field. For each health insurance fund type you can enter which health insurance fund/branch office carries out the assessment process for a personnel area/subarea.

Effects on Existing Data

The existing entries in the V_T5D1A view (Contribution Rates for Transfer) are adjusted using XPRA. Up to now, the V_T5D1A view contained one entry for each contribution-liable personnel area/subarea. This entry consisted of a health insurance fund and the contribution percentages. This entry has been copied for each fund type, so that for each personnel area/subarea there are now 8 entries for the various health insurance fund types (AOK, BKK Salaried Employees, BKK Industrial Workers, BKK, IKK, LKK, Private, and Sailor's Health Insurance Scheme). The entries concerning the health insurance fund/branch office responsible and the contribution percentages were transfered from the copied entry.

Effects on Customizing

If you want to continue as before with one health insurance fund responsible for each contribution-liable personnel area/subarea, you do not need to make any changes in customizing.
If different health insurance funds from each fund type are responsible for your contribution-liable personnel areas/subareas, you must maintain the health insurance funds accordingly.
