Note on
hierarchies
Determines whether the system overwrites groups
in the new standard/alternative hierarchy.
- If the indicator is selected:
An existing standard
hierarchy or alternative hierarchy is to be regenerated from the
source using the current data.
If the same groups
(but differently defined) exist in both the source and the
existing hierarchy in question, when the system generates the new hierarchy,
it overwrites the corresponding groups with the data from the
source.
These groups then
have the same status in the source as in the
hierarchy.
The
source is the
- Enterprise organization, if
you generate the standard hierarchy or alternative hierarchy
- Alternative hierarchy, if you
generate the new standard hierarchy from the alternative
hierarchy.
The standard setting
is for this indicator to be selected.
- The indicator is not
selected.
If one or more
groups exist in both the source and in the relevant
existing hierarchy, the system does not generate the new
hierarchy.
