In this step, you determine certain control parameters for repetitive
manufacturing profiles. These parameters control how goods receipts and
backflushes are to be carried out. You determine:
- whether activities are backflushed according to the standard cost estimate for the material or according to the preliminary cost estimate for the
product cost collector.
You define here whether the system proposes
activity quantities for a reporting point backflush according to the quantity
structure of the current standard cost estimate or according to the quantity
structure of the preliminary cost estimate for the product cost collector.
This setting influences the simultaneous costing.
When you make this setting, it makes sense to
use the same valuation variant as for work in process and scrap.
see also:
- whether backflushing errors have to be corrected manually or not at
all
- whether the system is to create reprocessing records for the incorrect
items (otherwise no reprocessing records are posted)
- how and in which period the master plan is reduced on goods receipt
- whether reporting point backflushing is allowed/optional
If you choose not to allow reporting point
backflushing, you cannot determine work in progress or scrap in Cost Object
Controlling.
- whether the goods receipt is to be automatically posted at the last
reporting point backflush
- whether a goods receipt and a goods issue is to be posted when
backflushing or whether only a goods receipt is to be posted

manufacturing profiles.
