A detailed description of the individual points is provided below:

1. Monitoring capacities from stock/requirements list

In release 3.0, it is possible to access the capacity evaluation from the stock/requirements list. However, no changes can be made from here - the display is for information purposes only.

1. Evaluating according to planning calendar

It is now possible to use the planning calendar periods to display capacity planning data.

1. Processing planned orders from material view

In 3.0, it is possible to check and, if necessary, change several planned orders from the material view. Changes to capacity can be viewed immediately.

1. Defining resources

In contrast to the functionality of release 2.2, in 3.0 work centers and capacity are no longer separate, but are jointly provided for selection in one pushbutton. You now select a resource, that is, you select the available capacity for a work center.

1. Checking overloads

A function is available which can be used to check which work centers are already overloaded. Moreover, you can determine the following in a special dialog box:

Therefore, overloads that exist in the distant future can be specified as 'not critical'
1. Branching into the graphics planning table

In 3.0, it is possible to branch from the planning result of the interactive planning and from the stock/requirements list into the graphics planning table. Here, the following processing options are available:
