Before you can install or upgrade an add-on, you must first load the relevant installation package. SAP makes these packages available:

Installation packages from the SAPNet - Web Frontend or from CDs are compressed. You must unpack these packages before you can use them further.

The unpacked packages are automatically placed in the EPS inbox of the transport directory (UNIX:
/usr/sap/trans/EPS/in ).You see a list of the packages you loaded that are now known with all their attributes in the SAP System and can be handled by SAINT in the correct way.
