Form for Financial Statement

Description

With 3.0 it is possible to print the balance sheet and P+L statement on a single form. To do this, you first have to create this form by using the program available for this purpose. When creating the balance sheet and P+L statement, you can then specify this form for the printout.

The system contains a program which creates a form automatically based on the financial statement version. You can then modify this form to meet your requirements using SAPscript. You can also define your own form from scratch to print the balance sheet/P+L statement.

The program creates a target form based on a) a source form which contains information on page width, paragraph formats and so on, and b) the financial statement version that you have selected; all you have to do is activate this form. The financial statement keys defined in the financial statement version are copied into the form to identify the individual items on the balance sheet/P+L statement. This 3-character key, displayed adjacent to each item, determines which part of the node is displayed (lines from the final group, total for the reporting year, etc.)

You can modify the following aspects of the automatically created form:

This allows you to print the balance sheet/P+L in a two-column format (with assets/liabilities listed side by side) or in a one-column format (with the items printed sequentially).
If you select this field, the texts in the balance sheet/P+L are also printed out. In this case, the form contains symbols denoting whether the printed texts are the original, final or summation level group texts.
If you select this parameter, the absolute variance is included in the printout.
If you select this parameter, the relative variance is included in the printout.
If you select this parameter, the summation level is included in the printout.

The automatically created form can be adapted as required.

Change system parameters in customizing

You can access the automatic form creation function from the screen on which you maintain the financial statement version.

For more information on maintaining the financial statement version, see the step "Define financial statement versions" in the Implementation Guide.

Further notes

You cannot create a form without a financial statement version. If this version is changed at a later date, the form must also be changed.
