Investment Programs in the Enterprise Organization 

Use

The hierarchical structure of investment programs up to now has been specified in structure maintenance in Investment Management.

Now you can also process the investment program within the Enterprise Organization by assigning program positions to nodes of the enterprise organization (eo nodes). This is useful when the enterprise organization reflects a CO standard hierarchy (cost center hierarchy or profit center hierarchy) and you want to construct the investment program from the viewpoint of responsibility for costs or revenue.

From the point of view of Investment Management, processing investment programs in the enterprise organization offers the following additional advantages:

You process the investment program in the enterprise organization using the following functions:

You can assign only one program position of an investment program to an eo-node. However, you can assign several program positions from different investment programs to the eo-node.

Program positions that are assigned to a node in the enterprise organization can only be edited within the enterprise organization. If the investment program is more detailed than the enterprise organization, then you have to create the additional program positions (that is, those program positions that are not assigned to any eo-nodes) in structure maintenance of IM and edit them there.
