If you work with large planned orders or run schedule quantities with production time runs that span several days, or if you enter production quantities directly in the planning table regularly (for exemple weekly), you can distribute the total production quantity of one or several buckets into individual planned orders or run schedule quantities per day.

You have three possibilities for distributing planned orders and run schedule quantities to a daily rate.

If you choose Distribute to daily rate ® Per order, the system distributes the order quantity as it does for the distributed view. That is, starting from the production dates, it splits the production quantities over the days. The system creates a new planned order for every day and deletes the existing one.

This distribution is carried out without taking the capacity load of the production line into account.

If you choose Distribute to daily rate ® Evenly, the system distributes the complete production quantity in a period according to the available capacity you have maintained for the production line. A new planned order is created for each day, and any previous ones are deleted.

To carry out this function, select the row and the period columns to define the planned orders you want to distribute and choose Quantity changes ® Distribute to daily rate ® Evenly or Per order.
