Backflushing Assembly Scrap 

Use

You can use this procedure to post a finished product as scrap in Repetitive Manufacturing.

Procedure

  1. In the REM Backflush screen, choose Scrap.
  2. Enter the quantity you want to post as scrap.
  3. If necessary, enter the reason for the scrap.
  4. Enter the material, plant and production version, and any other selection criteria.
  5. Choose Post.

You can also post scrap at the reporting point if you chose the reporting point backflush (see also the section entitled Carrying Out the RP Backflush for Stock Materials).
