Define Background Jobs for Processing

In this IMG activity, you define background jobs for batch record processing. You can use this option for the following:

To process a large number of batch records in the background all at one time

To perform specific processing steps for available batch records automatically at certain predefined time intervals

You can execute the following programs or processing steps in the background:

Program	Processing Step
PPPI_MCHP_CREATE	Generate batch records
PPPI_EBR_ARCHIVE	Archive batch records
PPPI_MCHP_DELETE	Delete batch records

Requirements

The user who defines the background jobs must have the authorization for transaction COEBR , authorization object M_MATE_CHP (Batch Record).
