The R/3 appointment diary is a tool, with which appointments can be scheduled and managed.
A view of a day, a week, or a month can be displayed. You can switch between these views at will. A 3-monthly overview in the form of a calendar page is always displayed.
Each user can set up the displayed time interval individually, e.g. their own individual working time.
All non-working days can be highlighted, by using an appropriate factory or holiday calendar.
As well as appointments, which can be maintained in the calendar display by double-click, you can also define so-called dominants. These set an attribute for one or several days, e.g. business trips.
Group appointments can also be maintained. This is supported by a search function, with which you can find vacant times for all participants.
The substitute concept allows each user to grant authorizations for the maintenance or display of his or her calendar to other users.
The current version is preliminary. Comprehensive extensions, e.g. integration into Workflow, are planned.
