Variant Configuration: Engineering Change Management

Description

As of Release 3.0, the maintenance of object dependencies is subject to engineering change management.

In this connection, please note the following:

• With engineering change management, you can create, change or delete dependencies on a certain date.

• Once you change a dependency using engineering change management, you have to make all further changes using engineering change management.

• You can only change the dependency with one change number on any one date.

• If you delete a dependency, this does not override future changes: the dependency is reactivated on the date of the future change.
