CO: Changes in the Allocation Processor for Release
3.0
Description
1. New sender rule: Fixed sender activity
prices
In addition to the sender rules "Posted amounts"
or "Fixed amounts", a further sender rule "Fixed activity prices" was included
for assessment, distribution, and periodic transfer posting. This way, you can
determine an activity price for every sender per unit of the receiver tracing
factor (see example).
These fixed sender activity prices are defined
similarly to the specification of the fixed sender amounts.
2. Plan data in the actual data or actual
data for the plan data - iterative relationships are recognized
correctly.
By choosing the indicator "Plan values" in
segment maintenance, plan costs rather than posted actual values are allocated
for actual data when making an actual allocation. Similarly, the actual values
are allocated for the plan data by choosing the indicator "Actual values" for
a plan allocation.
However, iterative relationships are no longer
recognized correctly in these two cases if the senders of this segment were
also the receiver in other segments of the cycle.
These restrictions are now eliminated and
iterative relationships to senders are also recognized that are used to
allocate the plan values within an actual cycle or to allocate the actual
values within a plan cycle.
3. Periodic transfer posting for plan
data.
This functionality is also provided as a plan
allocation method similar to "Periodic transfer posting for actual data".
Regarding handling and functionality, the "Periodic transfer posting for plan
data" corresponds to the corresponding actual transactions.
4. Controlling area removed from the
initial screens.
Changes to the interface
Due to the new concept "User interface of mass data transactions in CO",
minor changes were necessary on the initial screen of the transactions for
carrying out the allocations:
1. Instead of the pushbutton "Update", the
pushbutton "Test run" is now used in processing. This pushbutton is always
switched on when starting the transaction. Unlike the previous use of the
update switch, simple switching off of the pushbutton "Test run" results in an
actual update of the created postings.
2. The pushbutton "With line items" was
removed for the actual allocations in Cost Center Accounting and Activity
Based Costing. Activating the pushbutton "Detail lists" now automatically
results in the possibility of branching from the list of results to the line
item report as well.
