Internet Link Configuration 

Purpose

In order for the SAP Internet Mail Gateway to operate in your network structure, you must make a number of settings.

Prerequisites

The SAP Internet Mail Gateway and the mailing program are installed on the Internet Mail Gateway server.

Process Flow

There are settings in the R/3 System and on the Internet Mail Gateway server that must be made:

It makes sense to make the settings in the following order:

  1. Make settings on the Internet Mail Gateway server
  2. Make settings in the R/3 System
  3. Test Internet mail connection
