Demand Management: Period of Adjustment for Unconsumed Planned Independent Requirements

Description

Using the period of adjustment, a period can be specified in which planned independent requirements are not included in the planning run. This means that;

• no order proposals are created by the planning run for planned independent requirements that lie within the period of adjustment

• no order proposals are created by the planning run for planned independent requirements for which no firmed receipts or firmed order proposals have been scheduled or which have moved into the period of adjustment

The period of adjustment is specified in the material master record in the MRP 3 screen, in the field, ResHZ VPL.
