Report Writer: Cross-Application Reporting Terminology

Description

For Release 3.0, the reporting terminology has been made uniform for the different reporting tools in the SAP System. For this reason, some of the terms in the Report Writer have been replaced with the new standard terms.

The user interface of the report output has also been made uniform in all the reporting applications. Some of the functions in the Report Writer have therefore been renamed and entered at a different place in the menu.

Changes to the interface

The 'Navigate' menu in the user interface of the report output has been replaced with the 'View' menu. This menu contains functions which change the view of the selected data, for example, setting the summation level. The position functions are now to be found under the 'Goto' menu.
