Technical Confirmation Report / Technically Completing the Order 

Use

You enter the cause of damage for later evaluation. You also record the fact that the pump is fully operational again after maintenance was carried out. The processing phase is now over and the order can be technically completed.

Procedure

  1. Call up the transaction as follows:
  2. Menu Path

    From the Order node, choose Change

    Transaction code

    IW32

    The system defaults the last order you processed.

  3. Choose Header data.
  4. Choose to process the malfunction report.
  5. Position your cursor on the Cause code field and choose F4 help.
  6. Expand the hierarchy PM02 – Material and choose 1000 – Material fatigue.
  7. Choose the System availability tab page.
  8. Enter the following data:

  10. Choose .
  11. Choose to process the order.
  12. Choose the Costs tab page.
  13. Planned and actual costs for the order are displayed.

  14. Choose .
  15. In the dialog box, enter the following data:

    Today’s date and current time

  17. Choose .
  18. The system saves the data and you leave the order screen.

  19. To return to the overview tree, choose .

Result

The technical confirmation report is entered. The cause of the malfunction was material fatigue in the sealing ring. The pump is now fully operational once again. The order is technically complete.
