Generating
Delivery Items from the Shipment 
Use
As of this release, you can generate delivery items for packaging materials that were planned in transportation. You can set controls for delivery-item generation in Customizing for shipment types. An indicator for delivery item generation was also added to the "Define packaging material types" activity in Customizing.
For handling units involved in several deliveries, item generation can occur by generating delivery items in the delivery.
Effects on Customizing
You must make settings for the following activities in the Implementation Guide (IMG) in order to activate delivery-item generation from the shipment:
Maintain transportation relevance
Define and assign activity profiles
