Cost Element Reports

Use

The system contains special cost element reports for evaluating the reconciliation ledger. These reports enable you to compare the figures for internal and external accounting, display the costs incurred for each object class, and see the cost flows between company codes. Choose:

A cost element report that does not contain any data could be due to the following:

The reconciliation ledger is not active.

When the reconciliation ledger is active, the cost element accounting reports read the COFIT table instead of the COSP and COSS tables.

When you start Report Writer reports in Cost Element Accounting, a default filter is set, which ensures that no data is displayed if CO and FI are completely reconciled.

Proceed as follows:

Activate the reconciliation ledger

Make a followup posting of the reconciliation ledger

Delete the corresponding filter when you start the Report Writer report.
