Extension of the SAP main menu for customer modifications

Description

In Release 3.0A you can modify the SAP main menu using Transaction CMOD.

An entry for a customer transaction is maintained for each menu in the menu bar. This entry is in the last position in the menu and is invisible. When activated, the entry becomes visible and can be called. You activate it in Transaction CMOD using menu function Activate project.

The names of the projects to be activated are "CUST1", "CUST2", ..., "CUST6", depending on the position of the menu in the menu bar. For example, if you activate project "CUST1", the entry Customer function - in the first menu (for menu bar entry Office) in the last position (after the entry Opt. archiving) - becomes visible.

Hidden behind the menu entry activated using project "CUST1" in the first menu is the function code "+C01". The function codes for the transactions of the other customer menu entries are "+C02" for the second menu, "+C03" for the third menu, etc..

Changes in procedure

To activate menu entries for customer transactions, proceed as follows:

1. Enter the function code to be activated for the transaction you require (SAP transaction or customer development) in one of the following tables:
2. In Transaction CMOD, enter the project name for the menu in which you want to make the transaction callable, for example "CUST1" for the first menu (Office ) or "CUST4" for the fourth menu (Personnel). Then choose the function Activate project .
3. Change the standard text of the customer menu entry, so that it meets your requirements. For this, call Transaction SE41 and maintain the menu bar for the menu MENUS000 and the status MEN.
