Changing the Visualization Profile

Use

You use this function if you want to assign another order profile to your user-specific visualization profile or if you want to change the display of the coordinates system in the sequence schedule.

Integration

You create a visualization profile in Customizing for Sequencing. You can create several visualization profiles for different purposes. In Sequencing, you choose one of these visualization profiles which the system then assigns to your user. When you access the sequence schedule for the first time, the system automatically assigns the visualization profile STANDARD to your user. Then, in the sequence schedule, you can specify another visualization profile in your user-specific settings and, if necessary, you can make changes to this profile.

Features

You assign the order profile to the visualization profile by defining the visualization of the order characteristics.

In the visualization profile, you can specify the width of a column which the system uses to display the orders in one day. You specify the column width in the scale 1/100 mm. If you subdivided the period of examination into a short-term and a medium-term planning period in the planning profile, you can specify a factor the system uses to calculate the column width for the medium-term planning period.
In the Vert. axis field, you can specify the number of rows you want the system to display for the time axis. Enter how many rows you want the system to display in the sequence schedule per day for one line segment – you can enter a number between 1 and 24.

If you enter "24" as the number of rows, the system displays 24 hours on the vertical axis and one hour on the horizontal axis. This means, you can see all the orders per hour in one row.

If you enter "12" as the number of rows, the system displays 12 hours on the vertical axis and 2 hours on the horizontal axis. This means, you can see all the orders in two hours in one row.

If you enter "01" as the number of rows, the system displays 1 hour on the vertical axis and 24 hours on the horizontal axis. This means, you can see all the orders in 24 hours in one row.

If you enter "00" as the number of rows, the system calculates the number of rows automatically. This automatic calculation determines the number of rows per line segment depending on the takt time. If the takt time is small, the system displays a lot of rows per line segment in the sequence schedule. If the takt time is large, the system only displays a few rows per line segment.
