Define Time for Confirmation Processes

In this step you define control keys that specify when confirmation processes run. You must specify the order category for the control key (10 PP production order, 20 network, 30 maintenance order, 40 process order).

You can specify the execution time for the following confirmation processes:

automatic goods receipt

backflushing

determination of actual costs

As execution times the following are available:

at once online

at once as an update

later in the background

Standard Settings

In the standard settings there are no control profiles. That means that all confirmation processes run online.

Recommendation

Use this function when you want to improve performance in the area of confirmations.

Activities

1. Create a control key.

2. Assign the control key to the desired order type by entering it in the confirmation parameters for the order typ in the field process control.

3. Make sure that the parallelization type is defined for the processes that you want to parallelize.

4. Plan the background job for confirmation processes (Programmname CORUPROC). You can create variants for the individual confirmation processes.
