This Release note describes new functions in the area of production resource/tool maintenance for Release 3.0.
In addition to the previous production resource/tool categories,
for Release 3.0 you can create and maintain production resources/tools with an equipment master record.
The maintenance of this production resource/tool is similar to that of the equipment master record, however, you must enter a special equipment category (production resource/tool).
If you want to create an equipment production resource/tool, select the menu options Logistics -> Production -> Master data -> Prod.resources/tools, then Prod.resources/tools -> Equipment -> Create.
